Answer I am an ambitious person. But I prefer to use "optimistic." Sometimes the word "ambitious" brings negative connotation among our friends because it reflects the environment of competition. Being optimistic means having the spirit of hard-work and  teamwork to face various challenges and problems that we may encounter when trying to reach our goal.
   
Question Do you have a career plan?
Answer I do. I want to work in travel industry. I am now gathering all kinds of information that are related to ecotourism potential in my province. With a friend of mine in the Netherlands, we are writing a travel guide book for West Papua province. It will continually be improved for attracting more tourists to this region.
   
Question Where do you want to be in ten years' time?
Answer: Actually, I want to travel around the world. As a travel writer, I like traveling, taking pictures and write about my experience on the internet. I have written a lot of articles in this website, my personal blog charlesroring.blogspot.com and hubpages.com/profile/charlesroring. I think I will give more of my time writing articles that are related to travel, eco-tourism and environmental preservation.
   
Question Which of the following areas do you work in (or would you like to work in)?

Answer I have mentioned above that I like traveling. I earn money from writing articles on my websites that have been embedded with Google Adsense code. I don't know where this profession should be categorized according to the above career fields. I think journalism as a career field can be added as a career choice for anybody who is interested in writing. Or perhaps I should say that I work in production. However, when guiding tourists I have to perform or do all the six functions. For instance, to promote a potential tourist destination, I need to do a field survey. Then, I will assess whether the place is good and safe enough for tourists. Sometimes coordination with local villagers is needed to create an eco-tourism project that improves the living condition of the local people and at the same time preserves the surrounding environment. When all the requirements for the eco-tourism project have been met, I will promote and sell it to potential customers through my website. It takes at least 3 months up to 1 year before the tourists visit that place or village which I have promoted for the first time.

Because I use internet to promote my travel business, I know that I have to improve my English and knowledge about environment, travel and tourism industry as well as management of a hospitality business.

Answer I will choose points 5, 7, and 8. I may attend meetings, and company's social functions but I will only do that if all those activities give positive values to my personal life and bring good impacts to people or communities.
