Nokia 1200 A Simple Yet Powerful Cell Phone

Nokia 1200 Black is a robust cell phone. I had used it for three years before I bought a new Nokia Xpressmusic 5630. I liked this gadget very much because it was simple and had flashlight at the top of its casing. I frequently used the flashlight feature of Nokia 1200 when the electricity in my town was off. I always brought the mobile phone in my pocket. So, when there was a black out, I took it out and turn on the flashlight which was bright enough for bedroom use.

One day, my neighbor - Mr. Cornelis Fatie asked me to climb a hill behind our neighborhood to survey a site where we could construct water weir for supplying drinking water to houses in the Kompleks Missi that were located at the foot of the hill. We walked for around 30 minutes and arrived at the mouth of a cave. I was surprised to find out that the entrance of the cave was very small less than one meter height. I had to crawl to enter the cave. Inside the cave, spring water flows out from small hole between the cracks of the limestone of the cave wall. I was dark inside the cave. I didn't bring big flash light. Suddenly, I remembered that I brought my Nokia 1200 with me. I search my pocket, took the cell phone out and pressed the upper part of the middle button twice to turn the flashlight on. The light was bright enough to help me and Mr. Fatie walk inside the cave. Nokia 1200 has rubberized keymat that is dust and splash proof. Although the interior of the cave was wet, the cell phone worked well.

One day, I forgot to remove it from the pocket of my shorts which I had put inside the washing machine. Hours later, I found that it had been soaked together with my dirty clothes. Immediately, I opened the back cover of the mobile phone and wiped it with dry cloth. I disassembled the cell phone and put the components on the ventilation holes of my satellite tv receiver to dry them. Five days passed, when I assembled the phone and turned on the power, it worked. Unfortunately, I didn't work long although I had changed its battery to a new one. Well, I was not sad for that because I had used the mobile phone for three years before it was broken by my own mistake. The Nokia XpressMusic that I am using right now is more sophisticated than my previous Nokia 1200. It has wifi function, bluetooth, music player, games and various other functions that Nokia 1200 does not have. The problem is that my Nokia 5630 does not have flashlight, an important feature that I use frequently. Nokia as cell phone manufacturer has created great cell phone. For me, Nokia is the best and I still use cell phones that are produced by Nokia. by Charles Roring

Gadget is a small mechanical device or tool. This is the definition of budget that I read in Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary. Today people often use the term to describe not only small but smart device (mostly electronic) but also software.  The followings are articles about various electronic equipment that we often use or see advertised on mass media such as television, and the internet. The gadgets are reviewed here to help readers make right decisions before buying the products. Articles, comments, criticisms and suggestions from people who have used the gadgets are important to assess whether the computer or the digital camera or other electronic devices that they want to buy are suitable for them or not.

Nikon Coolpix P500 Pictures - In this article, I write some review about the photographs (of male magnificent birds of paradise and passion flower) that I made using the superzoom camera.

Digital Camera Panasonic FT3 Lumix - This is a waterproof camera that snorkelers and scuba divers can use to make underwater pictures of coral reef and fish that they see at the bottom of the sea. When I went snorkeling with 2 Dutch tourists near Anggresi beach of Manokwari bay on August 17 2011, I was able to use the underwater camera to take pictures of the corals and various species of tropical fish.  The Panasonic Lumix DMC FT-3 can also be used for outdoor photography when the weather is wet.
