The Saxophone Player wants to end his relation with the radio announcer In-hui

After the incident at the music concert, the saxophone player Song Il Guk (Gi-Hyeon) felt very uncomfortable. He had a very deep thinking about it. He slept and woke up late. The next morning, the radio announcer Jang Sin Young (In-Hui) came to his boarding house. When she opened Gi-Hyeon's bedroom's door, he was still sleeping. She closed it again and went to the kitchen to help Gi-Hyeon's aunt cooking Korean food. She made delicious food.

After the food was ready, Gi-Hyeon was called to have lunch together. He, In-Hui and the owners of the house sat around a low table enjoying Korean dish. They were talking and laughing. Gi-Hyeon's uncle said he was lucky to have not only a beautiful Korean girl but also a good cook.

After eating, Gi-Hyeon (Song Il Guk) and Jang Sin Young (In-Hui) went to a park. They sat on a bridge and had a short conversation. He acted stangely that day. He asked In-Hui to go abroad, to America, and started a new life there. In-Hui said she liked working in the radio. Gi-Hyeon knew that it was difficult to get a job as a radio announcer. Knowing In-Hui's refusal to go abroad, Gi-Hyeon asked for their relation to be ended. In-Hui was surprised to hear Hyeon's request. She asked for the reason. Gi-Hyeon said that he could not live in her path and In-Hui cannot live in his path of life either. Hyeon left leaving her standing on a bridge. She was shocked his decision.

During a hunting excursion, Chairman Kang asked how Seung-mo's relation with In-Hui. Last night he proposed In-Hui to get married with him but she turned down his proposal. The superintendent told his father that In-Hui was in love with someone else. Chariman Kang had known who he was. So, he told him to separate them.
Gi-Hyeon wanted to fine a way to America. He asked his friend to help him. His friend who worked in a restaurant agreed to help him. He would provide legal documents for him to go to Shanghai, China. From that city, Gi-Hyeon could continue his trip to America. But he needed some money to process that document.
Gi-Hyeon just signed a contract for his new recordings. He had some money from it. Chairman Kang had sent a spy to find out how Gi-Hyeon would use the money for. Preparing to escape abroad, Gi-Hyeon didn't come to his band rehearsals twice. This time he came to the practice but he was late. While his senior was complaining about his attitude, Seung-mo entered the room. He questioned why Gi-Hyeon didn't come to the band's rehearsal. Gi-Hyeon kept his mouth shut. As a result, he and his friends were told that their band would be eliminated from the radio program because more propaganda campaigns had to be broadcasted. Feeling that the band had been treated unfairly because of him, when Seung-mo came closer to him, Gi-Hyeon struck him on his jaw. His friends hold him trying to stop him from attacking the superintendent.

In-Hui heard that commotion, she entered the room. She called Gi-Hyeon. Telling him to stop fighting. Gi-Hyeon stopped. He ran out of the studio, In-Hui ran from behind chasing him. She called him to stop but he did not care. She finally stop running.
At home she asked Seung-mo why Gi-Hyeon and Seung-mo fought. He said that it was not a fight. Gi-Hyeon was the one who attacked him. He stated that it was a typical attitude of someone from low level of life. They used their fists to reach their goals.

In-Hui did not easily believe what he had said. She said Gi-Hyeon was not like that before. She packed her things that night and immediately left for Gi-Hyeon's boarding house. Gi-Hyeon went home late. When he got home and opened his bedroom door, In-Hui was already inside.
